Hello and welcome to my profile.
My name is Dawn Stemmer and I have been working in and around Merseyside and further afield for over 16 years by volunteering, treating and using evidence based natural therapies and clinical healthcare interventions that work alongside traditional health care practices. I have trained and worked for many years within an award winning Calming Interventions team at The Christie, a large NHS Trust cancer hospital based in Manchester, learning to adapt and integrate a range of psychological and physiological therapy approaches that were a part of large pilot research projects and won many national awards for their pioneering evidential findings.
What drove my therapeutic passion?
I qualified in Complementary therapy, anatomy, pathology and physiology in 2008 at the Warrington Academy before continuing on into Integrative Psycho-Hypnotherapy and Mindful Based practices.
My aim, to find Natural therapies to assist my own healing processes, banish for good my internal demands and feelings of not being good enough, guilt, shame, anger and self loathing all compounded my newly diagnosed Auto Immune disorder.
At the same time I was diagnosed as suffering from dyslexia… one new label adding to the many I’d been given during my life, I believed them to be, confirmation of who I was, and most likely always would be.
I’m glad to inform you that even a mature brain, like mine, and yours, has the ability and capacity to change and re-design itself. I learned how to upgrade my own belief system, to bring about a positive changes and responses to old patterns of behaviours and feelings. Thus enhancing and strengthening my emotional resilience which improved my overall health and daily wellbeing.
Today I strive to continue, seeking out modern and new therapies, such as BWRT, supporting and help people discover their own inner resources, strengths and abilities as they battle daily, with their own general and complex health issues.
My journey into self discovery started late in life, yet I made it against all the odds, building my own private therapy clinic and becoming an associated practitioner for Pall Mall Medical a large North West Private Healthcare company
I believe in living in the present moment, teaching others how they too can recover, improve and regenerate their own internal systems. The first step to vitality and health is to eliminate the subconscious blockages standing in our way.
Today I know how to help you make those changes that you wish to make, because I have overcome many challenges in my own personal life, physical, emotional and mental level.
All my training has been with eminent and learned practitioners, who have many years working in a clinical setting or medical environment, all passionate about healing. I will always believe in constant learning and personal self-development
